KEARNY-On May 2nd the Kearny Fire Department received a call for a person with his arm stuck in a conveyor belt at the FedWay building in the South Kearny section. Fire dispatch sent out a rescue assignment. On the response were Engines 4, 2, Ladder Tower 2, Deputy 3 and Deputy 5 along with Kearny EMS and MONOC paramedics.

Upon arrival units found a man with his arm broken it two places and stuck in the machinery. It took units 9 minutes to remove the patient, before he was turned over to EMS and taken to a local hospital with out further injuries.
